Dimple Jackets

Dimple jackets are used to heat and cool the contents of a storage tank or pressure vessel. To meet your heating and cooling needs, we can manufacture custom storage tanks or pressure vessels and weld a dimple jacket on the outside.

This cone-shaped vessel has three independent jacketed sections, each separated by vacuum stiffening rings. It is 9'-9" in diameter and 14' overall height.

This vertical vessel provides processing flexibility with three independent shell jackets and a bottom head jacket. It is 9'-6" in diameter and 16' from weld line to weld line.

This open top mixing vessel was designed to mix product in a facility with limited headroom. It is 11'-6" in diameter and 7' from weld line to weld line.

Our standard dimple jacket will handle 200 PSI at 400°F. Jackets requiring high pressure and temperature can be custom fabricated to meet your needs.

The majority of jackets are constructed of stainless steel. However custom jackets are available in:

Inconel
Carbon Steel
Hastelloy
Monel
Incoloy, and others
